Additionally, we work hard to project a corporate image with a sterling reputation in the workplace and marketplace. For this reason we seek vendors with standards that are compatible with our own and do not conduct business with companies or individuals who fail to meet these standards.

Our Code of Ethics, which is available for your review via the link on this page, provides guidance for BI-LO Teammates. We hold ourselves accountable to these expectations that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• The receipt of gifts or other items of value is generally discouraged and our Code of Ethics outlines when it is appropriate to accept gifts, when disclosure is required and when it is necessary to seek prior written approval before accepting gifts.
• Samples, non-business items or any other items that could be interpreted as a gift should never be sent to a Teammates’ home.
• Bribes, kickbacks or any similar, unlawful, improper payments are strictly prohibited.

BI-LO Teammates are advised that violations of our Code of Ethics are a serious matter and can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. As we hold ourselves accountable to a high ethical standard, we ask that as a good business partner you reciprocate.
